The long-awaited moment has finally arrived: Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) opens the doors of its brand-new Experience Center in Wielsbeke. Remaining close to the roots where the family business originated over 60 years ago, Beaulieu has constructed this state-of-the-art sustainable business hub. Not only does the new Experience Center showcase all the various solutions the Group offers, it also provides new office spaces for numerous employees.

To underscore our dedication to serving our planet, we recently joined the Sustainable Consumption Pledge. This is a voluntary cooperation initiated by the European Union together with businesses to enhance the sustainability of production and consumption, thereby complementing other regulatory actions.

The leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, Techtextile, marks the the perfect occasion for our colleagues at Beaulieu Fibres International to unveil their Sustainable Fibres Program, contributing to the reshaping of fibres for sustainable solutions.

At a special works council and staff meetings held today, the Beaulieu Flooring Solutions business unit of Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) announced its intention to discontinue the production and sales activities of the Mats division as well as the production of the Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) division.  If confirmed, the intention will involve a total of 95 Belgian employees.

The Board of Directors of B.I.G. announces today that Dominiek De Clerck will assume the role - ad interim - as CEO for the Group as of today. The search for an external CEO is ongoing.
