Advancing Sustainability in Geosynthetics: Beaulieu Fibres & Beulieu Technical Textiles at the 12th ICG in Rome

Engineered Solutions

Beaulieu International Group is taking part in the 12th International Conference of Geosynthetics (ICG) in Rome, happening from September 18th to 21st, 2023. As an advocate for sustainable advancements in civil engineering, Beaulieu Fibres International and Beaulieu Technical Textiles will be presenting their carbon footprint-reducing solutions to the over 1.000 expected attendees at stand #56.

Visitors to the stand can explore a range of solutions and compelling case studies that underline the performance and sustainability benefits of geosynthetics and underline the companies’ adherence to Beaulieu International Group’s Route 2030 roadmap aiming for zero environmental footprint.

The unique aspect about ICG is that it really brings together all the players in the geosynthetics world on an international stage. Being an event that only happens once every 4 years and is hosted in a different city every time – with Seoul hosting the last one and Montreal the next – it is a great opportunity to showcase the most sustainable solutions in geosynthetics to the world.

Jefrem Jennard, Sales Director Fibres, says “ICG Rome is bringing the geosynthetics and geotechnical engineering community together to present their recent experiences and developments. As a materials solution provider at the front end of the value chain, our industry role is to come forward with durable solutions as the whole geosynthetics industry has focused on the sustainable use of geosynthetics in a variety of innovative as well as consolidated applications. Geosynthetics, Leading the Way to a Resilient Planet”, is a pertinent conference theme which we are proud to support.” Roy Kerckhove, Sales Director Technical Textiles, adds: “We are continuously developing our finished engineering textiles with proven sustainability-enhancing benefits, while taking concrete steps to reduce our own environmental footprint.”
