6 production sites receive VOKA charter for sustainable development
We are proud to announce that we have received the VOKA award for sustainable development (Voka Charter Duurzaam Ondernemen - VCDO program) for no less than 6 of our production sites.
Six manufacturing sites in Belgium, France, and Italy have been awarded the VOKA Charters for Sustainable Entrepreneurship in honor of their achievements on the Sustainability Action Plans for 2021.
The Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepreneurship (VCDO) is an annual reward that certifies that the company took significant steps towards the realization of corporate sustainability.
VOKA attributes this award to organizations who work result-driven on and focus on continuously optimizing their sustainable actions. An independent board evaluates the efforts every year and uses a framework that is based on the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations (UN).
Sustainability is very high on our agenda and we are rightly proud of this great realization of our 6 production sites:
- Beaulieu Fibres International in Wielsbeke (BE), Kruisem (BE) and Terni (IT)
- B.I.G. Yarns in Comines-Warneton (BE) and Comines (FR)
- Beaulieu Technical Textiles in Comines-Warneton (BE)
As we continue to make an impact, the next Sustainability Action Plans for 2022 and beyond have been defined.
Let’s shape sustainable living, together!
