Technical measures help, but vigilance is the first line of defense. Always double-check the following:
1. Verify the sender domain
Check that the domain matches exactly:
- info@bintg.com is correct
- info@pintg.com (letters replaced)
- info@blntg.com (typos indicated)
- info@bintg.xyz.com (untrusted subdomain)
2. Use anti-phishing protection
Install security tools that help detect suspicious links and domains.
3. Extra caution with payments
If an email requests a payment or asks you to update bank details, always verify the account number. When in doubt, call the sender directly using a known phone number, not the number in the email.
4. Report suspicious activity
If you detect or suspect fraudulent emails, malicious domains, or any unusual behavior, please report it immediately to infosec-office@bintg.com
