With our B.I.G Solutions we aim for a better world. That’s why we are very proud of our partnership in the EU-funded Circular Sustainable Floorings project (or CISUFLO). By setting up a systemic framework for circular and sustainable floor coverings, we aim at minimizing our environmental impact as a big player in the EU flooring sector.

But we always dream B.I.G. Therefore we go beyond our Flooring Solutions! With our second Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen - VLAIO -supported project, our Innovation Team focuses on decreasing the environmental impact of all our semi-finished products, like our fibres, tapes and yarns. This by including recycled or reclaimed material during the production process, without affecting the product quality.

These innovative projects support us at achieving one of our sustainability goals to use on average at least 10% recycled materials in all our products over the world by 2025 and to become carbon neutral by 2030. To realize this, we've already recruited four new brilliant minds in our Innovation Team! Do you like to join our Innovation Team and work on these projects? Beaulieu International Group announces its intention to discontinue production and sales activities in Mats and the production of Luxury Vinyl Tiles.

At a special works council and staff meetings held today, the Beaulieu Flooring Solutions business unit of Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) announced its intention to discontinue the production and sales activities of the Mats division as well as the production of the Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) division.  If confirmed, the intention will involve a total of 95 Belgian employees.
