#SAFETY
Central to our focus is the safety of our employees. We do not compromise on safety.
Our plan for 2025: we aim to establish a workplace that prioritizes safety and health, minimizes environmental impact, and fosters a culture of awareness and collaboration among colleagues, ensuring mutual vigilance for each other's well-being.
To achieve this we are focusing on:
Leadership: create a culture of leadership that prioritizes the self-awareness of every employee to recognize and act upon Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) as their responsibility.
Tools: develop and implement user-friendly tools and systems that make our SHE performance visible, help us to remain self-aware and keep making progress. In addition, all production sites will have a management system that complies with international standards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Standards: set global SHE standards for tools and equipment, which will be implemented in a structured way across all our sites.
Impact: create a safer and healthier working environment, while also seeking to reduce the environmental impact of our activities and solutions.

#COMMUNITIES
As an organization, we also want to give something back to the communities around us. Many of our sites organize environmental, educational and social activities, driven by what our employees care about.

Our Sustainability Stories

B.I.G. contributes to reforestation efforts in Peru
In collaboration with Go Forest, a company that is on a tree-planting and planet-saving mission, we will plant 3.476 new trees in the Peruvian rainforest. In alignment with our Route 2030 initiative, we aim to make a meaningful contribution to global reforestation while simultaneously empowering local communities by creating jobs and strengthening the local economy.

Beautiful stories, with a touch of gold
At B.I.G., we want to make a difference. Not only with our sustainable and innovative solutions, but also by contributing to society. In our ONE Magazines, which were distributed around the turn of the year, a Golden Ticket was hidden at each site. The lucky winners of the Golden Tickets got the chance to donate 500 euros to a charity of their choice. In total, 36 Golden Tickets were given out, amounting to 18.000 euros donated to various charities!
